Let's Take a Tour of The Center -Day 2
Tour - Day 2

Many illnesses are the result of reactions to a variety of substances found in the home or workplace, including naturally occurring and synthetic toxic chemicals. the sensitive patient may notice adverse reactions to almost anything in their environment. Therefore, minimizing exposure and reducing total body load is a vital part of treatment success.

Day 2 should find you settled in less-toxic housing. You may have already purchased organically grown food and glass bottled water. The Foundation Store carries bottled water and limited organic food products . Your clinic schedule on Day 2 might include:

  • Follow-up appointment with the physician
  • Establish and communicate your treatment goals. Treatment goals are necessary to focus on areas of importance for testing and treatment.
  • Additional investigative procedures maybe ordered by the physician to help establish areas of treatment focus such as:.
    • Thermography which uses heat sensors to locate possible disease processes in organ tissue.
    • Additional laboratory evaluations.
  • Skin Testing

The first skin testing usually begins with finding your histamine and serotonin levels. These substances are tested first because they are used to stop reactions and to clear your symptoms as you go through the testing process. Remember to record any reaction or response that you have during testing on your testing summary sheet.

Begin testing of basic foods. What are basic foods? They are the foods most noted for allergenic potential. They included Baker's yeast, Brewers yeast, corn, eggs, cow's mild, cane sugar and wheat.

Skin Testing usually takes several days to weeks to complete and depends on the number of items you need to test and how long it takes you to test for each specific substance. One substance, for example banana, can take from ten minutes to over an hour to neutralize depending on the your sensitivity to that substance. In certain instances testing can be shortened, by testing for fewer substances.

Testing hours are from 9:00 AM - 11:30, 1:00 - 4:30PM M-F, Sat. AM. 9-11:30, Tues PM. 7-8:30.

Personal items, purses, bags etc., are left outside the testing rooms. There are lockers near the testing room where you may store your personal items. Remember to shut down all cell phones.

There are two testing rooms available, rooms A and B.
Room B is for severely sensitive patients.

A part of  testing involves writing down your symptoms on your testing summary sheet after each injection. Awareness of your body's response to a substance is important in your testing and treatment.

Testing Room B

The first skin testing usually begins with finding your histamine and serotonin levels. After those results, testing continues with common foods, which are often problematic for the environmentally sensitive patient. Eight to twenty commonly eaten foods are recommended for basic testing. Remember testing can take a few days or up to several weeks depending on your body's response to the testing.

Day 2 draws to a close and may find you are a little overwhelmed. "This is tougher than I thought. And testing is full of surprises." Rest and relax for day three is just a few hours away! On to Day 3.
