Abrams Royal Pharmacy

Very helpful pharmacy, with a drive-thru window. They can supply IV
bottles and much more. Located on Abrams Rd, just south of Royal Ln, a
couple miles north-east of the EHC-D clinic. They deliver to EHC-D for free.
Fellowship Bible Church
Located next to the EHC-D condos, this church shows the services on a big
screen TV in a separate room in the main worship center (bldg 3). Not
specifically intended for EI's.
Francis Simon's Bakery

A specialty bakery that makes breads and bagels using alternative flour,
like quinoa, amaranth, teff and others.
They deliver their bagels daily to the American Health Foundation in the EHC-D
clinic.
Hair by Delia

Delia McDonald is an EI patient herself, and has worked as a hairdresser.
She will come to your home and cut your hair for a reasonable price.
Lenscrafters

Lenscrafters is a national chain of optometrists, that provides fast service.
The store in the North Park Mall is very helpful. Set up an appointment, and
they will meet you in the parking lot outside the mall. Just make sure to
remind John not to wear cologne that day. If you need an eye exam, they
will do special accomodations.
Roy's
Family owned ecological supermarket, which never spray pesticides. Go west
on Royal from North Central Epwy to Preston. Turn right on Preston and
continue a hundred yards, Roy's is on the right.
San Antonio Shoes (SAS)

Located on the south-bound access road for the North Central Expressway,
just south of Walnut Hill. Call them in advance, and they will bring samples
of shoes outside for you to try in the parking lot. Very friendly service.
Store-To-Door

They will go shopping at the Whole Foods store for you and bring the goods
to your door. This saves you time and the 'hits' going to the store. Call
before noon to get deliveries the same day. In November 1999, they charge
$7.95 for purchases within $25, $9.95 for purchases up to $50, etc.
The American Environmental Health Foundation

Located inside the Environmental Health Center on Walnut Hill, this store
sells a variety of books, equipment, and supplies for the EI community.
They do mail-order.
The Living Source

Located in Waco, Texas, this store specializes in equipment and supplies
for the EI community. They do mailorder.
Whole Foods
Chain of ecological supermarkets. The closest one to the clinic is about three
miles east on Walnut Hill, it is located at the corner of Skillman Rd. Another
store is a little further, but the air is less scented: Go west on Royal Lane to Preston, turn north (right) on Preston for a couple of miles
to Forest Lane,
the store is on the left side. The company sprays their store with pesticides
every two weeks.
Others
There are other people who will provide other services, such as taxi service,
cooking, etc, but the people change frequently, and it is less official.
Ask some of the long-term patients.
