Published stories about people with Environmental Illness

The media is starting to bring some of out stories. Here are those I have seen, I'm sure there are many more. Sorry, can't bring the text due to copyrights, but most of them are available online if you look in the archives of the magazines website.

The Dispossessed

The realestate writer talks about the special house that was built for a lady, who became ill in her dream house and had to sell it. The new house is quite lavish, and hides the fact that it is an environmentally safe house.

Chemical Warfare

The story about an engineer from Dallas, who is is chemically senstivite. One of his symptoms is that his legs turns to jello and he collapse when he is exposed to fragrances and other chemicals.

Poisoned on the job

This 12-minute news special shows how seven bus mechanics in Medicine Hat, Alberta, got ill from working on busses using methane as a fuel. The fumes from the fuel made them chemically sensitive. The camera team followed the patients on a trip to the EHC-D clinic in Dallas, Texas.

Ann Landers, May 10, 2000 The syndicated Ann Landers column brought a letter from a Canadian woman, describing her disabling chemical sensitivity, brought on by her work in a fragrance factory.
